Stebbins High School Jazz Band
Stebbins High School Jazz Band is a 30 piece big band that performs a wide range of musical styles, including swing, bebop, Dixieland, fusion, rock, pop, and funk. The band begins after school rehearsing in November and performs throughout the Mad River School Local District and the Dayton area. The band has received praise for performances at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and at various Riverside community events. In 2016, the jazz band became a class that meets daily during 8th period. The jazz band consistently brings in guest solo artists such as Jay Halpin and Dr. Will Morris throughout the year.
